In the very heart of Prague we celebrated a special occasion – the official opening of the A. Dvořák brewery restaurant in Prague, dedicated to the legacy of the great Czech composer Antonín Dvořák. The gala evening took place on 12 September 2025, symbolically marking the 184th anniversary of his birth.
A festive atmosphere and our guests
The opening had a unique atmosphere full of music, friendship and inspiration. Among the guests were descendants of Antonín Dvořák – his great-great-grandson with his wife, and Mrs Dvořáková-Suková, the great-granddaughter of the composer's pupil Josef Suk and granddaughter of the master's own daughter.
The evening was rounded off with musical performances: a singer from a Prague theatre sang selected works by Antonín Dvořák, and other musicians created an unforgettable atmosphere. This cultural programme symbolically linked the Czech musical tradition with a new chapter in Prague's food scene.
